| Volunteer Opportunities - Throughout the year, the Mayor's Beautification Program offers numerous volunteer opportunities. We can accomodate any size group, date/time. We can also tailor any project to suit your needs. Typical projects include everything from shoreline restoration projects and tree plantings to litter cleanups and invasive plant removal projects. We offer opportunities throughout the year, as well as on-going park, median, shoreline and neighborhood adoption projects. All of our volunteer opportunities build a sense of community as neighborhood residents invest their time back into their community. The Mayor's Beautification Program provides all necessary supplies, tools, gloves and water for its Environmental Service Projects. | We are parents and caregivers in the bay area of children affected by congenital heart defects / heart disease who have formed a support group to exchange experiences and ideas. We have seen our children go through numerous open-heart surgeries, catheterizations, and other types of invasive surgeries. We try to secure the best future for our children by raising awareness, raising monies and giving to research in hopes that they will benefit through future developments in technology and procedures. | |

| We are looking for people of all skill levels to assist with a wide variety of tasks; such as event setup, breakdown, food prep, food servers, greeters, security, parking, and etc. We try to spread out the task load so everyone has the opportunity to experience and enjoy some of the event for themselves. The more volunteers for each event the better. Also a need for people with clerical and computer skills to assist with such tasks as typing, printing, copying, etc. Sacred Lands is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit and in a position to apply for grants and could use assistance in this area as well. Speaking from personal experience this is a great opportunity to be a part of an incredible organization, meet a lot of interesting people, and participate in a wide variety of experiences, and have a lot of fun doing it. | |
