80's for the ladies on Wednesday Night at the New Tampa Location and Saturday night International night.
![]() ![]() Traditional Greek Cuisine with an Innovative Twist I finally had the chance to see what all the talk of Acropolis Greek Taverna was all about! This a very interactive dinning experience, it was like taking a trip overseas without taking time off from work. The setting, music, décor, and service were all first class. They had very beautiful, classy belly dancers dancing to authentic Greek music and there is a napkin throwing dance where everyone throws napkins in the air! It was so much fun and then...the food! Let me tell you about the food! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They have awesome Greek salads and Gyros, which hits the spot for lunch, but my personal favorite is the Flaming Cheese -- literally this cheese had flames on it when it was served! My date and I were definitely impressed! They have a full liquor bar and great Greek Wine, not to mention espressos and tasty Greek coffee as well. Guys, I'll let you in on a little secret...looking for a great place to impress your date without breaking the wallet? This is the spot! Ladies...looking for a trendy place to drink, dine and experience something different than your usual night out? This is the place! They have two locations: 7th Ave in Ybor, and Bruce B. Downs in New Tampa. Entertainment: In keeping with Ybor's penchant for live entertainment and scantily-clad women, both the Cafe and Taverna offer the classiest belly dancer every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, also enjoly a very unique young entertaining band playing the pouzouki and keyboard while listening to Babi Lavidas perform the best popular Greek songs. Acropolis Greek Taverna also invites you to enjoy the Greek zebekiko and hasabiko and sousta dance. Enjoy the breaking plates while you see the zebekiko dance. Great Greek fun for families and couples! Click here to visit Acropolis Greek Taverna online for more information! | |
